The Quiet Land is an analogue documentary photography project that portrays all those places that were once inhabited and that now practically only exist in the memory of those people who lived and grew up in these now silenced towns and villages.
The absence of people, but not of soul, is what they try to convey with these images, souls that still endure inside houses where the roof has already given way to time, in churches where decades ago they were heard prayers and songs or in the streets where the wheels of the carts resounded on the cobbled ground.
